Being the “voice of business” for our membership and our community is extremely important at the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. Our Public Policy Committee is working overtime during this Legislative Session. Together, with the St. T ammany West Chamber and the Northshore Business Council, we communicate daily with our Northshore Delegation on bills being heard in committees and in the House and Senate in Baton Rouge. Doing what is best for St. Tammany and Louisiana is a top priority of our Delegation. Many topics are being focused on including School Board Reform and Homestead Exemption. We will continue to bring you the facts on each side of the issues to help our members be informed on what is going on in Baton Rouge. Our Public Policy Committee meets on the 2nd Friday of each month at our chamber board room.
