Though the forecast calls for rain, the City of Slidell’s Christmas Under the Stars festivities will proceed tonight, with entertainment and Santa and Mrs. Claus moving to inside the Slidell Municipal Auditorium, from 6:15 to 9 p.m.
As that option is not available Saturday, entertainment for that evening has been cancelled.
In the event of rain Sunday, all events scheduled for that evening will be moved to inside the auditorium.
The Christmas Train and Village will remain open tonight and Sunday night from 6 to 8 p.m., but will be closed Saturday.
Admission to Christmas Under the Stars events is free. On-site concessions will be available from Times Grill for a nominal charge.
