Madisonville’s St. Anselm Catholic Church has scheduled its 2010 Jewel of Madisonville Gala and Auction for July 24 at the Castine Center in Mandeville. The evening begins with a Patron Party at6:00 p.m., moving at 7 p.m. into the beautifully decorated main room to enjoy the music of The Bucktown Allstars, specialty foods from many of St. Tammany’s finest restaurants, distinctive libations, and desserts. Silent auction boards will be filled with fabulous items and gift certificates. The Live Auction includes a week in Lake Tahoe, a Catered Cruise for 40 aboard the majestic Le Bon Temps Roule’, a Mardi Gras Weekend Party in the French Quarter, a Boat and more. A 2010 Buick LaCrosse valued at $30,000.00 will also be raffled at the Gala. Proceeds from the event will go to the church’s building fund.
