The Tangipahoa Economic Development Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Loren C. Scott, economic expert and popular speaker, will give the keynote address for the 2010 Spring Luncheon. Dr. Scott, whose experience ranges from university teaching to television interviews to consulting with major firms such as ExxonMobil, Entergy, and others, is known for dynamic presentation. Bob Basford, TEDF Executive Director, states that “Dr. Scott’s presentation style is fun, and he is always on target with his state and local economic forecasting models.”
The Spring Luncheon, this year celebrating TEDF’s 32nd year of operation, will take place on May 13, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. Twelve Oaks, on the Southeastern Louisiana University campus, will again be the location, with over 200 elected officials and business leaders expected to attend.
In order to afford as many businesses the opportunity to attend, there are still spaces available for attendees. Tickets to the luncheon are just $25. Corporate table sponsorships, which allow attendees early entry to decorate their eight-space tables with products and promotional items highlighting their businesses, are available at rates of $100 for TEDF members and $125 for non-members.
