Middendorf’s Restaurant Sponsors Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center Exhibit

Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center Assistant Director Michael Zatarain and Executive Director Patti Tregle accepted a sponsorship from Karen Pfeifer, owner of Middendorf’s Restaurant in Manchac, for the café exhibit of the children’s museum.

Also participating in the presentation is Kathy Montecino, a member of the Advisory Committee for the Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center. Children will be able to indulge their appetite for learning through role play in a miniature version of the Louisiana icon that is Middendorf’s as the chef, wait staff or dinner guest. The Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center is scheduled to open in September 2010 at 113 N.
