The monthly meeting for Parish Council District 11 constituents will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 7 PM in the library of the Bayou Woods Elementary School located off Carroll Road at 35614 Liberty Dr., Slidell.
Parish Councilman Steve Stefancik, who represents District 11, will provide an update and discuss the following items which are of interest to District 11 constituents and/or on the agenda of the May 6th Parish Council meeting.
1. An update on the removal of debris from the Coin De Lestin canals and the status of the arbitration appeal to FEMA.
2. An update on the Bayou Liberty Bridge project.
3. An ordinance to change the process of minor subdivision review.
4. A grant and matching funds to construct Camp Salmen’s Flatwoods Crescent Loop – Camp Circuit trail.
5. A status report of the development of Camp Salmen and the grand opening date.
6. A revision to the ordinance concerning Commercial Excavations.
7. The status of capital Improvement projects in District 11.
8. Any other items of concern to District 11 constituents.
