St. Tammany Parish received the following update from LA DOTD:
The outside, right lane of Eastbound and Westbound I-12, near milepost 68.53, between the LA 59 and LA 434 exits, will be closed Monday night, January 17, 2011 to Monday Morning, January 31, 2011. The contractor may work the following times: Sunday night through Thursday morning, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; Friday night to Saturday morning, 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and Saturday night to Sunday morning, 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. while crews place asphalt to tie-in the acceleration and deceleration ramps to I-12 (weather permitting).
Permit/Detour Section
During the nightly construction, to avoid the lane closure, eastbound motorists may take I-12 to US 190, East on US 190 to LA 434, North on LA 434 to I-12 and westbound motorists may take I-12 to LA 434 (Lacombe), South on LA 434 to US 190, West on US 190 to I-12.
